MOCO
museum of contemporary Osaka
Prototype iOS
Objective
Since Japan is getting more popular destination from all over the world.
This museum app becomes a gateway for an enriched experience.
It offers seamless audio guides in users' native languages, bridging the language gap since the museum doesn't provide guides in every language.
Goal
I took on the exciting challenge of creating a functional and user-friendly museum app that adhered to the guidelines for both iOS and Android platforms. I aimed for a harmonious balance between functionality and aesthetics, ensuring that the app not only meets technical requirements,
but also captivates users with a visually pleasing experience.
Userflow
To fulfil this objective, I outlined essential features for the app, including an intuitive audio guide with own language, an accessible web shop, and a streamlined program filter.
Native app
UI elements difference
Native apps are created with specific design rules. For iOS, it's the Human Interface guidelines, and for Android, it's the Material Design guidelines. Each set of rules includes different design elements to make sure the apps look and feel right on each platform.
Style guide
I've opted for white as the primary colour, ensuring it doesn't detract from any artworks. Complementing this, I've selected brown as the accent colour to evoke an elegant ambiance.
